From 25 to 29 September 2017, GTS could once again been seen at the fair SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN, which in 2017 took place in Düsseldorf. Equipment and powder manufacturers and suppliers, and thermal spray businesses had the opportunity to present their product portfolio at GTS’s special exhibition booth.

As expected, GTS had organized everything perfectly for the exhibitors. On the Sunday, the booths were up and waiting well in time and all the exhibits were in place as desired by the end of the day. The GTS booth offered all its exhibitors – corresponding to the booth space reserved – plenty of room and pleasant surroundings to present their exhibits. All the posters and banners were printed by GTS; we simply needed to submit our photos and labelling in time. Here again, everything was carried out to our complete satisfaction. The spot for the GTS special booth directly opposite the large DVS booth was an excellent choice. The location guaranteed a constant stream of visitors to the booth.

Werner Krömmer was in charge of the booth and supported by Angelika Heinrich and Alexandra Krömmer. The two ladies not only answered questions about GTS, but also served the exhibitors small snacks and made their time at the fair all the more enjoyable. Visitors with specialized questions were referred directly to the respective exhibitor for answers and suggestions.

The fair again generated a variety of interesting leads, which underscores the advantage of such a trade show. Visitors come with specific issues looking for very application-oriented and practical solutions.

We will be participating as an exhibitor at the next SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN. Particularly worth considering is the minimal organizational effort needed for such an exhibition as GTS takes care of everything centrally from its Head Office. The financial expense is also very reasonable – one advantage of a joint booth.

All in all SCHWEISSEN & SCHNEIDEN 2017 in Düsseldorf was a very successful trade fair!

The GTS special booth was once again an important port of call for all those interested in thermal spray technology.
