The branches SLV München and SLV Duisburg of the GSI Gesellschaft für Schweißtechnik International mbH offer a range of training and education for personnel an companies in the field of thermal spraying, on request also on site:

SLV München:

• Training and qualification of the European Thermal Spraying Specialist (ETSS) according EWF and DVS guideline
• Seminar “ Materialography and materials testing of thermally sprayed coatings”

SLV Duisburg:

• Training and qualification of the European Thermal Sprayer (ETS) according EWF and DVS guideline
• Testing of Thermal Sprayers according EN ISO 14918

SLV also offers the following services for thermal spraying at the respective locations:

SLV München:

• Metallographic microsection
• Tensile test according EN 582 and DIN EN ISO 14917
• Shear strength according DIN 27201-10 and EN 15340
• Testing of hardness, measuring the surface roughness

SLV Duisburg:

• GTS Certification according to GTS guideline
• GTS Product Certificate according to GTS guideline
• Certification according ISO 9001:2008 by DVS ZERT
• Assessment of the quality requirements according ISO 14922, part 2-4
• Testing according ISO 2062 for zinc and aluminium
• Metallographic microsection
• Tensile test according EN 582 and DIN EN ISO 14917
• Testing of hardness, measuring the surface roughness
