Sulzer is exploring the divesture of Sulzer Metco

Sulzer announced that it is exploring the divesture of Sulzer Metco and is looking for a new owner for the division. This decision is based on Sulzer’s strategy to focus on the three key markets of oil and gas, power, and water, while Sulzer Metco is mainly active in attractive parts of automotive, aviation, and general industry. This decision is thus driven purely by strategic considerations and will allow Metco, under new ownership to extend its market positioning and presence. The aim of Sulzer is to find a buyer for the entire division – one that has the ability to leverage these strengths even better and ultimately offer even more value to the Sulzer Metco customers.
